About the Devs
Founded in 2010 out of pure boredom, Seven Thirteen started as a small web design business. After doing a few local artist websites, the local market was simply tapped out. Everyone either already had a website or didn't want to pay for one. That's what happens when you are in a small college town. After building one of our clients a mobile site, we decided to change our focus to mobile development. Our lead programmer had several years working in the mobile forum developing apps and mobile friendly websites, so it seemed like the right move. And it was...

Our first app stemmed from an idea we had while living on College Street. Oh, did I forget to mention the founders of Seven Thirteen roomed together during college? Well, now you know. The app was Ultimate Drinking Games for Android. The app didn't blow up like all app developers hope, but it is still seeing steady downloads. With UDG's success, we decided to try out a mobile game.

Now, our knowledge of game programming dated back to the days of the almighty TI-83 Plus calculator, building text adventures, Plinko clones, and multiplayer text based games. After that, there were a few non-published flash games, simple shooter flash games for a few local websites and that's about it. Then we decided to jump into the big leagues with mobile games. We wanted to utilize some of the key features of the trending smartphones, so we decided on a touch and swipe based game.

That is the story of how Jewel Attack was born. Using a fantastic tool by Ansca Mobile called Corona, we were able to bring Jewel Attack to life within a few months. Taking what we learned from creating Jewel Attack, we are currently in the process of creating another addicting game!
